Rostro de México is an annual beauty pageant in Mexico based in Mexicali, Baja California. The winner of Rostro de México obtains the right to represent the country at Miss Grand International pageant.() The current Rostro de México is Paulina Flores from Nuevo León who was crowned on July 31, 2015 in Taxco, Guerrero. ==History== The first Rostro de México pageant was held in 2009 and continued until 2012, when the last event was held with this name. In 2013, the pageant did not take place. The titleholder of Rostro de México participated in different beauty contests such as Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism Queen International. In 2014, the pageant changed its official name of Rostro de México to Miss Grand México at the wake of a new important contest named Miss Grand International based in Thailand, founded by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil. However, the title of Rostro de México continues to exist and the winner goes to Miss Intercontinental contest. In 2015, the national organization decided to make changes in the contest's format and structure, stating that there will only be one national title, which is Rostro de México, and the eventual winner will participate annually in Miss Grand International. These changes were made to give the national titleholder a more thorough preparation for the international event and improve the Mexican candidate's performance in Miss Grand International and surpass the achievements in the past two years. These changes have also made the Miss Grand Mexico title obsolete and, therefore, has disappeared and no longer valid. This event combines the excitement of a traditional beauty pageant and the awareness it promotes amongst the participants about the problem of war and violence that exists in the world today. Additionally, in the national competition there is an awareness of the importance to integrate deaf people in the job market and society, in general. The winner of the Rostro de México title, when competing internationally, will have the opportunity to project her physical beauty (which is important because it remains a beauty contest after all) and intelligence; as well as the essence of Mexican women and the concerns regarding Mexico's social problems that afflict us all and this way achieving a balance between the inner and outer beauty. The finalists also obtain the right to represent the country in other international pageants such as Miss Intercontinental, Miss Fredoom of the World, Miss Tourism Queen International, Miss Global International, Miss Caraïbes Hibiscus, Top Model of the World, Miss Global Beauty Queen and Miss Humanity International. Each year, our representatives reflect the teamwork that has always characterized and been an essential part of all the members of the national committee and the state coordinators who are, obviously, the ones who truly make it possible for the candidates to make her dreams come true. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Rostro de México」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
